Agri-Food Pilot Program

Apply for permanent residence

This Pilot Program can be suitable as a pathway to permanent residence for those workers who have at least one year of Canadian experience in certain industries and a job offer from a Canadian employer. The minimum education requirement is a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent and the minimum language requirement is CLB 4.

    The eligible industries are –
  • Meat product manufacturing

  • Greenhouse, nursery, and floriculture production, including mushroom production

  • Animal production, excluding aquaculture

  • Cattle ranching and farming

  • Hog and pig farming

  • Poultry and egg production

  • Sheep and goat farming

  • Other animal production


    And eligible occupations are –
  • NOC B 6331 – Retail butchers

  • NOC C 9462 – Industrial butchers

  • NOC B 8252 – Farm supervisors and specialized livestock workers

  • NOC D 9617 – Food processing laborers

  • NOC B 8252 – Farm supervisors and specialized livestock workers

  • NOC C 8431 – General farm workers

  • NOC D 8611 – Harvesting laborers

  • NOC B 8252 – Farm supervisors and specialized livestock workers

  • NOC C 8431 – General farmworkers
