BC PNP

BC PNP Visa Consultants

BC PNP is broadly divided into two streams: Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC streams. The most programs in both streams are the same and the only difference is that in case of Express Entry BC stream, the applicant needs to create a profile on federal express entry platform and qualify for one of the underlying streams of express entry. Express Entry BC is faster than Skills Immigration.

Skills immigration has the following programs:
  • Skilled worker

  • International graduates

  • International post-graduates

  • Healthcare professionals

  • Entry-level and semi-skilled

Express Entry BC stream has following programs:
  • EEBC- skilled worker

  • EEBC- International graduates

  • EEBC-International post-graduates

  • EEBC-healthcare professionals

In both streams, the applicant needs a job offer from qualifying employers in all programs and all programs follow a point-based merit system. The only exception is ‘International Post-Graduates’ in both streams. In this program, the qualifying applicant can apply directly after completing their post-graduate study. After completion of the study, the applicant automatically qualifies to apply for permanent residency. The list of qualifying institutes and programs is readily available.

For entry-level and semi-skilled streams, the applicant applying as a long-haul truck driver needs to have at least two years of work experience in the preceding three years in Canada or abroad and needs to have at least nine months of BC work experience with the employer who is sponsoring the application. This program is also suitable for the tourism/hospitality, and food processing industries.
